“New year’s day I went with very dear friends to Sandbanks for a cold water swim (I just watched and admired). While there we came across a fabulous group of Golden retriever owners and their about 150 dogs who had gathered on the beach for a New year meet up. We had lost our dog 6 months earlier and it was so wonderful to have them all swirling around us. It inspired me to make this painting as a memory of that day. “
